The City of Calgary is testing a new Neighborhoods Streets Pilot Policy; the goal of the policy is to create streets where residents of all ages and abilities can connect and have access to safe and comfortable travel options. This new policy will replace Calgary’s 2003 Traffic Calming Policy with an umbrella policy that will identify elements that make our communities great.

The City will like to hear from you, you are invited to participate in a workshop where you will receive updates and can provide feedback on the policy. There are three workshops that you can attend, please pick one:

After all the workshops, The City will summarize the feedback, update the policy and present the final policy to Council in June 2022.

You can access the draft policy and read more about the project here.
