As we continue to navigate these difficult times and find new ways to help our neighbours and volunteer, the Alberta Government urges volunteers to follow all necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Click here to view the Government of Alberta’s COVID-19 information for non-health care volunteers fact sheet.

Tell us how we did!

We have extended our member satisfaction survey deadline until April 19 at midnight so you have more time to get your answers in! This annual survey is an important way for us to get feedback from you, our members, on the programs and services we offer you. The results will be analyzed and used to better serve you, so don’t miss out on this opportunity to have your say! We know surveys aren’t that fun, but it will only take approximately 10 minutes of your time. And to show our appreciation for your time and responses, you’ll also be entered into a draw to win an exciting surprise gift card! Click here to take our survey and tell us how we did by Sunday, April 19.

Calgary Foundation: Stepping Stones Grants

All projects must abide by the latest public health regulations. Click here to learn more.

City of Calgary Neighbours helping Neighbours
The City of Calgary has created a page to inspire three simple acts of kindness to support your neighbour, community, and the city of Calgary during these difficult times. Click here to view these printable tools and resources.

Social connections while physical distancing
We have been really impressed and excited to see all the ways that communities are making social connections while practicing safe physical distancing. See below for some of the great work being done:

  • The North Haven Community Association is hosting a North Haven Tidy Up Challenge by encouraging its residents to get out in the alleys, corners, and side walks of their neighbourhood and pick up garbage that has collected over the winter between April 17-24.
  • The Banff Trail Community Association is encouraging their neighbours to paint rocks to contribute to the community garden for other neighbours to find while going for a walk by the garden.
These are just some examples of the great work being done! If your community has a great initiative you’d like to share, please email us and we would love to share them!
