Federation of Calgary Communities – Engagement Process Review Resource
City Council passed a Notice of Motion called “Strengthening Transparency – Improving Engagement with Calgarians” in 2024 to strengthen the approach for public engagement. KPMG was brought in February 2025 to review engagement approach.
Federation of Calgary Communities was interview by KPMG in May 2025, and we want CAs to be part of the Engagement Process and Review. This resource has questions to reflect and key messages designed to help community association (CA) ambassadors prepare for KPMG’s review of the engagement process.
Responses to Questions from the Mayor’s Event
On January 22nd, the Federation of Calgary Communities hosted the first annual Discussion with the Mayor for all community association leaders. This stemmed from the Mayor’s commitment for more engagement with communities.
On February 19th, answers provided by City Administration and collected and sent by Mayor’s Office, we have some responses to questions.
