Energizing Spaces powered by ENMAX aims to replace old and inefficient appliances with energy-efficient models. New appliances not only work better, but can help you save money on your energy bills.

Before You apply

Criteria for Appliances

Only ENERGY STAR appliances are eligible for this grant. We cannot reimburse appliances that do not meet this requirement.
Pre-purchased appliances are not eligable for this grant. Appliances MUST NOT be purchased until funds are awarded.
Natural Gas appliances are not eligible for this grant.
Any electrical appliance is eligible, regardless of appliance type or location.
Appliances over 10 years old will get priority.
You can select the appliance that works best for your organization, as long as it is labeled ENERGY STAR.
Both industrial and home appliance types are eligible.

How it works

1. Review your organizations eligibility, and receive board approval.

2. Get two quotes for the exact same ENERGY STAR appliance(s).

Ensure you are getting quotes for ENERGY STAR appliances.

3. Fill out the application below.

Pictures are worth a thousand words! Show us how old and gross your old appliances are, and tell us how new appliances will support your community. Let us know about the programs and services that would be impacted by an appliance upgrade.

4. Wait for a response.

The selection committee will send you a letter to inform you of the status of your application. DO NOT purchase appliances before you receive your confirmation letter.

For recipients:

5. Once you receive approval, purchase your approved appliance(s)

DO NOT purchase appliances before you receive your confirmation letter.

6. Submit the receipts and proof of purchase

Please submit your receipts and proof of purchase to us within 6 months of receiving your confirmation letter. We reimburse all receipts we receive at the end of each month.
