Southview Community Association received an ActivateYYC grant and painted two sections of the street where speed-bumps and bump-outs would traditionally be located to slow traffic. During paint day, community members stopped by to chat, introduce themselves, or discuss traffic calming concerns.
The design, colours, and production of the project were overseen by local artist, Paula Timm, and the work was an incredible addition to the canvas of the community.
