TURNING SPACE INTO PLACE.

What's New?

About ActivateYYC

ActivateYYC is a community focused tactical urbanism program offering grants, resources, and education to turn space into place. Created in 2017, by the Federation of Calgary Communities, the program has since reached every quadrant of the city and established itself as a reliable and supportive tool for the needs of Calgarians seeking aid in placemaking initiatives. Have an idea for the next great space-to-place transformation? Need help finding the potential of that unactivated spot on your street? You’ve come to the right place. We’re happy you’re here!
