     12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Join us Thursday, May 1, from 12:00–1:00 PM (via Microsoft Teams) for an essential Lunch ‘n Learn hosted by the RCMP/Calgary Police Service Combined Intelligence Unit. This session is a unique opportunity for community members to get an inside look at the safety and security preparations underway for the G7 Leaders’ Summit, taking place in Kananaskis, Alberta, from June 15–17, 2025.

Presented by Sgt. Serge Letendre (Calgary Police Service) and his RCMP counterpart Tom Christie (retired), this informative session will provide key insights into how community members can support the overall safety mission through awareness and engagement.

What You’ll Learn:

  • The role of the Combined Intelligence Unit in securing the G7 Summit
  • How community vigilance plays a vital role in event security
  • What to watch for, who to contact, and when
  • Access to our “Threat Indicator” pamphlet – both digital and hard copy versions available (ENGLISH) (FRENCH)

Q&A included – bring your questions and engage directly with your local security partners.

This is more than just a presentation — it’s a chance to become a part of the intelligence-led safety network protecting both Calgary and the global leaders attending the Summit. Whether you’re a staff member, or volunteer, your role matters.

Mark your calendar and bring your lunch – we’ll bring the intel.
