An Exploring Communities Project
Acadia’s Fence Pixel Project has brought a burst of color and community spirit to the community with their traffic-calming art installation thanks to the support of Exploring Communities. This initiative, aimed at enhancing safety for pedestrians and drivers alike, has not only addressed a shared community concern but is also becoming a symbol of unity and community spirit!
A Community Collaboration
The installation itself invited everyone who lives, works, and plays in Acadia to contribute to this artwork, resulting in the collective creation of the vibrant “I ❤️ ACADIA” sign. This collective effort has resulted in a stunning piece of art that reflects the heart and soul of the neighborhood.
A Positive Impact
Since its completion, the “I ❤️ ACADIA” sign has already gained positive feedback from the community. Neighbours have expressed how much this art piece fosters a sense of pride and unity, transforming a simple traffic-calming measure into a beautiful and meaningful addition to their streets.
