Our communities can be affected by climate change in so many ways, from extreme temperatures to wildfire smoke to food insecurity. We’re seeing signs of climate change everywhere. Through ClimateReadyYYC, we want to help communities build climate resiliency, especially for equity-deserving groups who are most affected.
For our second round of small grant funding, we’re offering grants (up to $5,000) to help registered organizations and community-minded individuals adapt to changing climate conditions.

We are the largest volunteer movement in the city, working to support board members and volunteers who help improve neighbourhood life. We provide programs and services that help communities build their capacity to support and mobilize residents, identify and provide services, and be on the front lines of critical issues affecting them. Our work empowers people to guide their organizations with confidence and clarity to develop a sense of belonging and a voice for community life.
