On January 17, The City of Calgary transitioned to a new model for reviewing development applications. The new Development Applications Review Team (DART) replaces the Corporate Planning Applications Group (CPAG). The DART model consolidates the functions and reduces the number of generalists that work on applications to 2. See diagram below for an illustration of the old model and the new model. The 2 generalists will still utilize and integrate knowledge from planning, development engineering, parks and transportation to create innovative solutions for applications.  DART model is more outcome focused, creates a better alignment with customers, and creates a better approvals experience.
