Stomp, Tromp and Glide – Winter Activities Fair

Trying to get neighbours excited for winter can be a challenge, but Prospect Human Services managed to do just that! On January 4, 2019, they hosted the Stomp, Tromp and Glide – Winter Activities Fair to showcase many wonderful winter activities. One neighbour who was nervous to walk on any ice ended up spending the afternoon learning to skate. The organizer was happy to “turn fear into excitement.”

Around 40 neighbours came to the winter fair, and the ActivateYYC grant was used to rent equipment and help make the event a success. Since this event was held in a public park, a Greenspace permit was required.
