Do you have a busy schedule or did you miss our introductory planning workshop this year? If so, then this opportunity is for you! The Federation is bringing its introductory planning workshop to your ward! We want to build relationships with planning committees in ALL areas of the city, so we’re bringing our workshops right into your communities.

Our Orientation to the Planning Process 101 workshop is great for volunteers who recently joined their planning committee or are new to the planning process. We normally offer this workshop once a year, but now you can participate in this workshop right in your ward, whenever it suits you best!

The presentation portion takes approximately one hour, and an additional hour is often used for discussion.

Topics covered include: planning acronyms and terminology, planning policies and hierarchy (what they are and how are they used), and the planning tools available to you. There will also be time for open questions and learning from your CA planning peers.

The workshop includes a set of planning cue cards, which cost $5 per participant. The workshop itself will be free.
