Municipal Solar Program
Join the Federation of Calgary Communities and the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre to learn about the Alberta Municipal Solar Program (AMSP) on April 6 at 7:00 p.m. The AMSP provides funding to municipalities and community associations for the installation of solar PV systems on their facilities. The program is now in its last year for applications and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. This volunteer-led communications campaign asks Calgarians to recognize and protect built heritage, historic streetscapes, and public spaces that define a unique sense of place.
Outdoor Patios back for the summer
As temperatures start to warm up, the City has announced that they are extending the outdoor patio program first introduced last year for this season. The City is looking to make it easier for people to navigate the Plus 15 walkway network in downtown Calgary. Wayfinding is the process of navigating from point A to point B.
