COVID-19 Update
Yesterday, our Premier announced that Albertans are prohibited from attending public recreational facilities and private entertainment facilities, including community centres. We sent out communications informing our members with facilities to shut down to the public immediately. We are seeking clarification on if this includes staff of community facilities and will communicate this out via email and social media when we know. Please click here to view the update from yesterday.

As a public health precaution all our workshops and events have been postponed until further notice. Our online Table Talk Tuesday learning sessions will continue as planned. These sessions are online only. To ensure the health and safety of our members, staff, and community, we will not be providing in-person support until further notice and the majority of staff are working remotely. We are currently working to develop resources to help support our members as well as compile resources from our community network. Click here to view these resources. This page will continue to updated.

Audit files should still be dropped off at our office. Please call our office at 403-244-4111, before dropping off files. Our auditors will no longer be doing on-site visits for the foreseeable future. If you have questions for your auditor, please reach out to them via email. We will continue to support our members in all matters via email throughout this time, please click here for our staff directory.

These are unprecedented times and we thank you for your understanding. Now more than ever, being neighbourly is incredibly important. Find ways to support family, friends, and neighbours because we are all in this together.

All workshops and events have been cancelled until further notice. Our online Table Talk Tuesday learning sessions will continue as planned. These sessions are online only.

Helping out during COVID-19
While these are scary times, we have seen communities across the city step up to help support their neighbours. Keeping your safety, and the safety of others in mind, check out some of what we have seen below:

  • To help keep their community stay happy and healthy while maintaining social distancing, the Tuxedo Park Community Association has started offering their yoga classes online!
  • Many communities are encouraging their residents to decorate their windows with crafts to encourage community building while still practicing social distancing. See the above picture from the Killarney-Glengarry Community Association!
  • The Haysboro Community Association has initiated a neighbour support program that encourages people who need help with getting groceries, snow shovelling, dog walking, and childcare, or those who would like to help with those tasks, to fill out an online form through Google Docs.

These are just some examples of what our communities are doing across the city to help out during these difficult times. If your community has a great initiative, or if you know of any other great ideas, please email us and we would be love to share these ideas.
