Shoebox Project for Women in Shelters
During the holiday season women who are homeless or at high risk of homelessness are the most neglected and marginalized. The Shoebox Project for Shelters, supported by Dream, collects and distributes shoeboxes filled with items valued at 50 dollars that any woman is likely to enjoy. Each Shoebox helps a woman experiencing homelessness remember that she is loved and valuable. Our team is hosting a Shoebox Party to support this local cause. Making a Shoebox is a great activity to do with your friends, family, coworkers, or any other group of people in your life! Build a shoebox or host a party – every Shoebox counts!
