Congrats round one Energizing Spaces Fund recipients!
Dalhousie, Deer Run, Temple, West Hillhurst and Woodcreek Community Associations and the Good Companions 50 Plus Club will all receive funds to go towards replacing old energy-sucking appliances with new energy-efficient models, and Glendale and Shaganappi Community Associations will receive funds to upgrade their outdoor ice rink lighting to LED bulbs. Call for Casino Volunteers
Do you want a free dinner and help out the Federation at the same time? We need volunteers for our Casino on Sunday, July 2 and Monday, July 3 at the Calgary Casino: 1420 Meridian Road NE. We have the following evening shifts still open that need to be filled by someone like you. Did we mention a free delicious dinner?!

Remax FREE Event Supplies
Remax has a number of event supplies available to organizations to rent, for free! All you have to do is fill out a request form on their website. Some of the supplies include tents, jumping castles, inflatable slides, and even hot air balloon rides! Check out their website here for more information or to request supplies for your summer events!

Important Update on Commercial Kitchens
The City of Calgary has issued an important update on the use of kitchens in public facilities, which includes community association buildings. Visit Commercial kitchens in businesses or facilities for info on updated safety standards, fire inspections, and the follow-up processes that apply to both commercial and non-commercial kitchens, moving forward. Please contact #3-1-1 or your Neighbourhood Partnership Coordinator (NPC) for more details.

Are You Ready for Flood Season?

  1. Congratulations to our 25 Partners in Planning (PIP) graduates! We will be celebrating your success on June 3rd at our AGM/Tradeshow. We will soon be contacting you about receiving your certificate.
  2. The City of Calgary recently introduced a Roadway Activity e-map to the public. Click here to read more.
