Community Representation Task Force Update
As you might be aware the Federation and two of your peers sit on the Community Representation Task Force. We have had three meetings to date and are still working on scope of the project. At present, we are understanding that a “civic decision making framework” will be developed and currently this work is being supported by a dedicated staff team. What we mean by “framework” and it breadth is still being discussed. At the meeting on March 15, 2017, we began to unpack and clarify terms like civic decision-making, representation, and framework. As well we tried to gain a clear understanding around the intention of this work. A work in progress … so stay tuned!
