Do You Have Enough My Neighbour Cards?

Communities Choosewell
2017 registration is now open. Communities ChooseWell is a free program of the Alberta Recreation and Parks Association that supports 'Wellness Champions' to develop partnerships, programs, polices and infrastructure that foster active living and healthy eating in their communities.

Changes to Provincial Funding
Several changes have been made to the Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP) and Community Initiatives Program (CIP), including new grant streams, and moving from four intakes per year, down to three. AGLC Bingos
AGLC has updated volunteer expenses use of proceeds in the Charitable Gaming Proceeds Handbook. While the initial wording caused confusion, volunteers can still receive $75 per event. Click here to see the updated handbook.

Re:Sound Music Licensing Company
We’ve received many questions over the past month about Re:Sound Music Licensing Company, and how Re:Sound differs from SOCAN. Please be aware: both are regulated under the Copyright Act, with various tariffs for different types of music use. For some helpful tips on how they differ, please click here.

McGill University and the City of Calgary are investigating attitudes in Calgary about Transportation choices and liveability in Calgary communities. Take the survey and help the City understand how to best serve your community. Great prizes too! Click here.
