Mills Park Summer Series

Mills Park Summer Series

The Mills Park Summer series was hit this past summer! The Inglewood Community Association held an event at Mills Park every second Thursday stating in June and ending in August. Each week offered a different event and used the park in a new way. The events were yoga, live entertainment, art and crafts, games nights, a drumming circle and musical entertainment. The weather on a few of the dates made it difficult for the organizers, but luckily, they were able to move the event inside the community hall.

The Inglewood Community Association used the $750 ActivateYYC grant to make sure this series was a success, which it was as about 250 people participated! The organizers were happy to see the smiles on the faces of children during events like arts and crafts.
