Get to Know Your Government: Municipal

Join us to learn more about our municipal government in Calgary.  This learning event will be divided into four mini sessions.  Each session will be presented by our facilitator, Paul Fairie, to help build your understanding of the topic.  Each topic will also have a guest speaker to share their personal experiences and perspectives.  There will also be time for some moderated questions and answers.

By the end of this session you should:

• Understand the role of local government and their authority
• Hear about the top municipal issues
• Understand the structure of municipal government
• Understand the election process and what expect this fall
• Explore how to get involved beyond the vote!
