Community Learning – Accessible Outdoor Spaces

Join us for this month’s Community Learning Session – Building a Community Rink for All. The Parkdale Community Association will be sharing their story about building Calgary and Alberta’s first accessible community rink. President Amanda Affonso and Accessible Rink Project Director John Butterwick will provide an overview of the inclusive facility, the lessons they learned and discuss why all community facilities need to be accessible and built for everyone. This interactive session will be an opportunity to share experiences that promote new ways of thinking about community facilities.
