There is so much to be gained from participating in community life, but with Calgary’s changing demographics we are seeing many residents with different backgrounds and realities who are not part of it. Join us as we explore barriers for getting involved in community, highlighting the major themes in membership recruitment and how to use community profiles and local stakeholders to engage diverse populations.

This workshop will be presented four times; once in each quadrant. The dates are:

  • Northwest Workshop: Wed. September 23rd at Triwood Community Association (2244 Chicoutimi Dr. NW)
  • Southeast Workshop: Wed. December 2nd at Dover Community Association (3133 30 Ave SE)
  • Northeast Workshop: Wed. March 17th at Falconridge Castleridge Community Association (95 Falshire Dr NE)
  • Southwest Workshop: Wed. June 1st at North Glenmore Park Community Association (2231 Longridge Dr. SW)
