Want to learn more about how you can Activate YYC? You’re invited to attend our FREE “How To Get Started” workshop on  November 30th, from 6-8pm.  Learn how to do your own quick, fun, and low cost ActivateYYC project or event and get helpful hints and useful tools to make your ideas a success!

Topics include:

Program Details – What is ActivateYYC? Why would you apply? Who can apply? How will submissions be judged?

Project/Event Idea Requirements – Why do you need to partner with an organization? What insurance do you need to have? Why this project/event has to be new to your group? When can your project/event take place?

Helpful Tips and Tools – Examples of eligible projects and events. How to find your partners? How to get volunteers? How to inform your residents? How to find out about the necessary City processes, including permitting and approvals? What other sources of funding are available?
