Orientation to Planning Process April 7
The Federation is holding a workshop on April 7 (also note preceding date on Feb 11 if you prefer) to orient CA planning reps to the Community Guide to the Planning Process. The small-group workshop will help participants get up to speed on the 184-page Guide and is an opportunity to discuss issues with the Federation planner and colleagues from other CAs. The workshop complements the Partners In Planning program and will count as an elective. Workshop from 7 to 9 at the Federation boardroom 1609 14th Street SW. Space is limited and participants must register. FREE.

GST for Charities
Date: Thursday, April 8, 2010 Time: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Location: Federation of Calgary Communities Board Room Charities are able to claim back 50% of GST paid. They don’t have to register unless they have $250,000 in taxable revenue.
